For student recruitment, utilising various data components (such as demographic information and test scoring information) and then mapping out data processes with Alteryx, Billigence can create a model that will better predict which students are the most appropriate to enrol for a course. Alteryx allows for this analysis to be done quickly, which is vital due to clearing time. You want to be able to pick from the best as soon as possible.

Using various collected data (such as attendance data and utilisation of resources data), a student retention model can be developed. This model can sort students into ‘at risk’ categories based on their levels of attendance, utilisation of campus resources and other factors. This allows for planners to understand what groups of students are exhibiting signs that they will drop out, and can indicate that they may need extra resources or guidance to prevent this.
